JEE MAIN 2017 SCORE

Jee main logoI. The score of JEE (Main) – 2013 for all candidates will be declared by 7th May 2013. This score shall comprise of the actual marks obtained in JEE (Main) – 2013 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2013 provided other conditions of eligibility are met.

II. Separately, on the basis of score in JEE (Main) and normalised score in Class 12th or other qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively), separate rank lists will be prepared for admission to B.E./B.Tech. and B.Arch/ B.Planning (in institutions other than IITs). This will be declared on or before 07.07.2013. JEE (Main) Rank Card indicating All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be available on website from 08.07.2013 onwards.

III. The rank cards will be dispatched to the candidates from 12.07.2013 onwards by ordinary post. The JEE Apex Board or JEE (Main) Secretariat will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to the loss of rank card in transit. In case of non-receipt of the rank card within the stipulated period, candidate may apply for duplicate rank card along with the payment of Rs. 50/- (plus postal charges of Rs. 30/- for outstation candidates) through Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi/New Delhi between 01.08.2013 to 31.08.2013. No request for issue of duplicate rank card will be entertained thereafter.

IV. In case of a tie, i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal marks (by giving 60% weightage to performance in JEE (Main) and 40% weightage to normalised marks in Class 12th or other qualifying
examination), inter-se merit of such candidates shall be decided in the
following order:

Rank list for admission to B.E/B.Tech(in institutions other than IITs)
· Resolution by marks obtained in Mathematics in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
· Resolution by marks obtained in Physics in the JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
· Resolution by total normalised qualifying exam marks. Candidate obtaining higher normalised marks will be given better rank.
· Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. Candidate having higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank.
· If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank.

· Resolution by marks obtained in Aptitude Test in Paper-2 in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.

· Resolution by marks obtained in Drawing Test in Paper-2 in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.

· Resolution by total normalised qualifying exam marks. Candidates obtaining higher normalised marks will be given better rank.
· Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. Candidate having higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank.
· If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank.
V. The OMR answer sheets of all the candidates along with the responses captured will be put on JEE (Main) website for verification by the candidates.
VI. All participating institutes that do not use the centralised counselling procedures will prepare their own ranking based on the performance in JEE(Main) and other criteria as decided by them.

JEE Main 2013 Eligibility Criteria :-



The candidates must have cleared their HSC examination or any of its equivalent.  Those appearing candidates in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2013 may also appear in JEE(MAIN) 2013 provisionally. Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2010 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2014 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)-2013

Many candidates think that who have appeared in QE in 2010 but passed it in 2011 will be eligible but let me inform you guys its not like that you are not eligible and you must have passed the QE with at least 5 subjects.

There will be only 3 attempts for the students

Age limit :-


The candidates whose birth date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible. But for the candidates of SC, ST and PwD categories have given them a relaxation of 5 years in JEE Main.

Mode of Examination :-


Guys you have to be very carefully this time because the paper has divided into two sections i.e ONLINE and OFFLINE. But the second paper of JEE Main will be conducted only in OFFLINE mode. The candidate are only have an option either to choose for ONLINE or OFLINE in Paper 1.
