Ashok Hall Girls' Higher Secondary School Kolkata is a day school. It is a co-educational school and is recognized by the State Government. The school timings are from 09 10 hours to 15 20 hours on working days. In morning the school conducts class of XI and XII. The school was started on 1951 and now the school has become one of the most pioneer school in Kolkata. The school has divided the sections and also their locations like students of class VI to XII have their school at southern end of the business district of Kolkata near Minto Park. Same like the senior section the junior section is situated at posh areas of South Kolkata at Palm Avenue. There are three vacations during the course of the academic year Summer Vacation, Puja Vacation , Winter Break. The school staff is Supported with a Principal, two Vice-Principals, a Headmistress, three Counsellors and 106 teachers. The administration is supported by 17 members of the office.

For lower Infant First you have to issue the registration forms in December to January. The age limit for admission to Lower Infant is 3+ as on 1st April of the year of application. You must collect the documents at the time of admission like Receipt-cum-Admit Card, Photocopy of the Birth Certificate from the Municipal Corporation (Original certificate to be brought for verification), Registration Form duly filled and signed.
For Upper Infant to Class IX admissions starts from March, April and continues up to July. you must know that students from different affiliated schools in Kolkata are not considered for the Primary and Secondary sections. You must collect the documents at the time of admission like Receipt cum-Admit Card, Photocopy of the Birth Certificate from the Municipal Corporation (Original certificate to be brought for verification), Registration Form duly filled and signed. Attested photocopy of the Progress Report Card of the School, last attended.
For Class XI Science, Humanities, Commerce and Vocational (Commercial Management Course) Streams starts in March. You must collect the documents at the time of admission like Receipt-cum-Admit Card, Photocopy of the Birth Certificate from the Municipal Corporation (Original certificate to be brought for verification), Attested photocopy of the Progress Report Card of the School last attended or attested Marksheet of the Class X Board Examination.
