About School:

Navy Children School is located in the Navy Nagar at Colaba. The School is also having junior college, which is a part of the School.
The School is run under the shadow of Mrs. Krishna Jain and Naval Wives Welfare Association. The finance authority of the School is under the hands of Navy Education Society (NES). The CBSE exams are also conducted in this school.

Library:

The School Library is made for all students including Jr. College. The library has the rule that, they issue one book in a week. If any student fails to return before the end of each term will have to pay a fine of Rs. 1/- per day. 

Play Ground:

The School has huge play ground which conducts various sports facilities such as Playing basketball, football, cricket, handball, table tennis, etc.

Admission Procedure:

Registration forms are available in school office at Navy Nagar from February to March.

Priority for Admission:

The below category will get first priority for admission.
a) Serving Naval Personnel.
b) Serving Army/ IAF/ Coast Guard Personnel who are on deputation to Navy.
c) Retired Naval Personnel.
d) Serving Army/ IAF/ CG Personnel.
e) Retired Army / IAF/ CG Personnel.
f) NCS Staff.
g) Others.

Age Limit for Admission:

A) For Standard I, the child must have completed minimum 5 years and maximum of 7 years as on 31st March of the admission year.
B) For other standards the minimum and maximum age for admission will be calculated based on the age limits prescribed for STD I.

Documents Required for Admission:

Birth Certificate is required for nursery student and transfer certificate from previous school is required for the students who came from the schools.

REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION.

Transport:

Traveling to the Navy Children School is very much easy because, it’s on station road near children home. Mankhurd Station Road Bus Stop is a famous land mark to find your school. The Buses are available from Dr Shyam Mukherji Chowk, Bus no is 21LTD timing is 8:09pm * 8:19pm *     8:30pm *. And from Rani Laxmibai Chowk the timing will be 7:57pm * 8:09pm * 8:27pm * 8:46pm * 9:04pm * 9:23pm * 9:41pm * 10:00pm * 10:18pm * 12:10am.

There are Bus facilities provided by the school from Primary Section up to Std. XII. But your parents have to pay a full year bus fee in 2 installments. Installment 1 will be from April to September & Installment 2 will be from October to March.
